LVU is distinct in that it is rated a top twenty soccer club in the U.S. The club has an overall sense of purpose and camaraderie in its pursuit to be the best.  The LVU staff consistently reinforces principles in which to train, compete and live. It stresses the process of these three principles over outcome. Yet by adhering to such methods, outcomes for LVU players and teams are overwhelmingly positive.  The many successes on the soccer field achieved at LVU are a byproduct of the development and preparations made every day in training.

At LVU we stress the leadership skills of our players and the traditions and foundations of the club.  Coaches have respect for players and ask that they lead by example and hold others accountable.  LVU players are extremely competitive with a burning will to succeed.  To Unite this attitude with other like minded young people makes for an explosive and determined competitor, team, and club.

LVU is a premier soccer club. Competing at a national level is our expectation. We are unique in our ambitions and achievements in the Northeast.  There is a very rigorous selection process that goes well beyond athletic ability. LVU believes in developing many qualities in a player beyond pure athleticism. Our selection of players reflects this. Only those with potential in various key areas are brought to the club. LVU’s Premier Teams do not ‘over select’ allowing for our highly experienced staff to foster a close working relationship with players and families.
