Players with birthdates between August 1, 1998 - Dec 31, 2001
are invited to attend Lehigh Valley United’s "PROJECT 2009"
Project 2009 is designed to bring serious club soccer players together at the younger age groups to introduce them to premier level soccer training and game play in preparation for tryouts for Lehigh Valley United teams in the spring. Project 2009 will run from September, 2008 - Spring tryouts in 2009. This program runs in conjunction with your current club team, not as an alternative.
The girls program will be coordinated by LVU Senior Staff Dave Robinson and the boys program by LVU Senior Staff Greg Ramos. Read more about Dave and Greg on the Coaches tab of our website. More information about the program including events and cost should be directed to the Program coordinators after the sessions.
With tryouts for Lehigh Valley United FC teams just around the corner, LVU would like to more clearly specify our intentions for forming teams for the 2009-2010 soccer season. LVU will be creating 3 new boys’ teams and 3 new girls’ teams at the U9, U10 and U11 age groups. Players who have been participating in Project 2009 have been from these 3 age groups. Over the winter, LVU has begun to get more age specific at the training sessions. This will continue to be the case. When the sessions move outdoors the age groups will not be mixed at all and the sessions will be a combination of technical training, competitive small sided games, and evaluation by the staff of the participants. There will also be question and answer opportunities before and/or after each session. We appreciate the opportunity to provide excellent soccer training to your son/daughter.
