A fire last Friday night destroyed the Groff family home. A website has been created to collect donations for the family to cover the many, many expenses that they are faced with at this very moment in order to cover their immediate basic needs. We encourage everyone to support the Groffs by making a donation to this site and/or collecting gift cards. We will have collection bins at Iron Lakes and Turff Club for this ongoing effort to support to one of our own.
Thank you to everyone for their kind support on behalf of the Groff Family and United Gives Back.

Paying it Forward
Tradition and culture in a soccer club develop over long periods of time. Those whom experience them are often best suited to perpetuate them – to keep them living and breathing for future generations of players.
This is an exciting time for high school seniors and even some juniors as they begin to commit to their college or university of choice. Many players submit an "early decision" application because they have verbally committed to play soccer at a particular school and are confident it is their school of choice. Congratulations to our LVU Players who have made their decisions. Read on for our college bound athlete information.
Former LVU Player Danny Barbir heads to Manchester City
"Lehigh Valley United gave me the foundation and platform to be a true soccer player. From the very begining I was blessed with great teamates and as a group I was a part of the LVU winning tradition. As a member of 4 indoor state cup championships, 3 outdoor state cup championships and winning several national tournaments, I was given a taste of winning football with my LVU 96 & 95 team. I was blessed to have been a part of many international events which eventually gave me a taste and confidence that I can play at that level."
Congratulations to the LVU '00, '97, '96 & 95 Boys and '00 Girls who have been accepted into the Region 1 Premier League for the spring 2014 Season. "The Region I Premier League is for the top sixteen teams through out the Region in the U13, U14, U15, U16, U17 and U18 age groups for both girls and boys. The competition is designed to allow the very best teams in Region I to play each other in a league format. With only sixteen positions available in any age group through out the Region, entry into the league is competitive. Each year, selection of the 16 teams becomes more difficult."
